It seems that every day there is a new scam alert.

If you list to the radio or TV, it's quite likely that you will hear news of the latest prevalent scam. It's well known that scammers deliberately target the elderly and the vulnerable so you need to be on your guard.

 

There are a number of  Lifestyle and Consumer TV programmes that regularly highlight scams such as Morning Live and Rip Off Britain. There are also a number of websites that will give you more information about the what's doing the rounds at the moment and, importantly, how to report them. The more scams are reported, the better the organisations such as the National Cyber Support Agency can act to eradicate them.
